Hey everyone. We’re going to be having trials for a collegiate team to take down to Whangarei every week. First trial day is Friday 16th March at 4pm here in Kaikohe. It’s for players years 9-13. Welcome Back and Happy New Year
Happy New Year and welcome to the 2018 Hockey season. 2008 – to 2018, yes hockey enthusiast we are celebrating 10 years of hockey on our awesome turf – In April of 2008 then named the New World Hockey Turf, now the Top Energy Hockey Turf was officially opened for the first time in Kaikohe, Bay of Islands, since then we have grown from around 160 odd players to $320+ players. Coming up first this year Super 8’s…. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
Year 5 & 6 Representative Notice
Are you interested in playing for Bay of Islands Year 5 & 6 girls and boys Represenative hockey team.
Come along to the training trial on Saturday 29th July 1pm
The tournament will be in Whangarei this year on the 13th of August
Players will be named via our facebook page on the following Sunday

Hello everyone
I have great news Caryn Paewai has agreed to be our girls year 7 & 8 coach again this year.
She is keen to get started on Wednesdays from 4:00pm-5:30pm on
Dates she will be at Kaikohe’s Top Energy Hockey Turf for training:

If you are a year 7 & 8 and are keen to be in BOI Hockey BOYS or GIRLS represenative team, you need to be at this pre season training. Please fill in the registration form below so that we can let Caryn know who will be attending. We are also asking that you bring a gold coin so that we can give Caryn some help with petrol as she is going to a great effort to get here and give her time as a volunteer to our our young people.
